Nodaway County Emergency Services Board put an end to a long standing practice requiring the Nodaway County Ambulance District to pay for dispatch services, according to The Maryville Forum. The board was created to over see revenue from the 911 sales tax approved in April, which will pay for dispatch services throughout the county. The board decided to end current contracted arrangement with the ambulance district, instead making it a member agency the board is obligated to provide service for.
