
10 Squared women met last night to choose the first recipient of 2024. Three local organizations gave their presentations, Northwest Alternative Spring Break, Project Prom and The Rose Theater. After a close vote the Northwest Alternative Spring Break program was chosen. Lead organizer Amanda Twaddle joined the KNIM Breakfast club yesterday to announce the winner and to talk about membership to be a part of the 10 squared women. The Nodaway County Historical Society & Museum will be open this weekend for Second Saturday from 9am to 11am. Visitors can browse the museum and enjoy some coffee, refreshments and baked goods. Admission is free however, donations are happily accepted.
The 62nd Annual Farm-City Banquet will be held March 7 at the Northwest Ag Learning Center. The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the county’s ag community with a breakfast to be served at 7:30a.m followed by a program and presentation of awards recognizing leadership and accomplishments in Nodaway Agriculture. Tickets are $15 and are available at the Chamber office.
