The Holt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death that occurred on Monday in the area of 59 Highway and Elmwood Road. Sheriff Tiger Parsons stated that the incident appears to be a “targeted event” and assures the community there is no ongoing danger. The investigation is being conducted with assistance from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Investigative Division and other emergency services.
