On July 19th, a multi-agency effort in Gower, Missouri, led to the peaceful arrest of Shawn Reynolds, who was wanted on a felony warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. Deputies from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by several other agencies, apprehended Reynolds after a several-hour standoff at a residence where he had initially refused to comply. No injuries were reported, and an adult female was also taken into custody with charges pending further investigation.
