Rotary Club To Host Peony Tour

The Maryville Rotary Club is hosting its first Bloomin’ Peony Tour on May 18 and 19. The event includes a tour of Hollingsworth Peonies, making the only two days the flower farm will be open to the public. Tickets are available at The Maryville Forum and Nodaway Newsleader. Baseball districts postponed

Due to rain showers throughout yesterday, all scheduled baseball district games for local schools were postponed to Tuesday afternoon. Maryville will play at 2 p.m, in Cameron, Northeast Nodaway at 6:45 p.m. in Maysville, Nodaway Valley at 4 p.m in Guilford and Platte Valley at 6 p.m. in Rock Port.

County schools hold graduations

Nearly every school in the country celebrated their senior class graduation on Sunday. Jefferson C-123 kicked off the day with 13 graduates at 1 p.m. Northeast Nodaway, North Nodaway, Nodaway-Holt and West Nodaway also has seniors turn their tassels throughout the afternoon. Maryville High School will host its graduation on May 19.
