The Missouri Department of Conservation will be holding a hunter safety skills class in Maryville on March 16th at the Northwest Technical School, 1515 South Munn. This class is the second half of the hunter education certification process following the completion of the knowledge based program that is available online. Kim Mildward, current economic development planner will be leaving Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Government to join Nodaway Economic Development as project manager as of March 15th. Bringing 25 years of experience with her, Mildward states she is eager to continue to positively impact and foster economic development.
Maryville School District Superintendent Dr. Lighfoot visited the Breakfast Club with Don and Holly to provide information on the JUMP proposition that will be on the April 2nd ballot. Lightfoot stated that the committee that is working to get the no tax increase bond to pass is planning an open house at each school where the public can come and view the conceptual renderings, learn more about the proposition and talk with school leaders about the bond.
