Maryville will experience a partial solar eclipse on April 8th. Commencing at 1:53 pm. In our part of Northwest Missouri we can expect 85% coverage. It will be another 20 years… August 23, 2044 to be exact before the next total solar eclipse will be seen from the US.
West Nodaway R1 will have a no tax increase bond on their ballot on April 2nd. Proposition K.I.D.S is seeking a $2 million no tax rate increase bond that will replace leaky and faulty roofing, ceiling tiles, update the HVAC system and sewer work for the existing district buildings. KNIM Country is teaming up with The Hangar Entertainment Center and Make it Maryville to bring a new event to Northwest Missouri. Rusty Nutz Pickers Market will debut on May 11th. This pickers market is open to a wide variety of vendors and will be held on the second Saturday of each month beginning with May. We are currently looking for vendors for this event.
