Maryville Public Safety held a press conference today where Interim Police Chief Mike Stolte told media it appeared the deceased infant had been in the remote area of Mozingo Lake for six to 12 hours. The body is undergoing autopsy at Frontier Forensics and a full report is expected in six to 12 weeks. Anyone with information on the infant death is encouraged to contact Maryville Police Department.
