The Missouri State Highway Patrol announced the results of its 2025 annual school bus inspection program, revealing that out of 11,255 buses inspected, 10,144 were approved on initial inspection. While 799 buses had minor defects and 312 were placed out-of-service, all required repairs or corrections must be completed before transporting students. Additionally, 297 Missouri school districts received the Patrol’s Total Fleet Excellence award for their commitment to student safety.
