Captain Shawn P. Skoglund, commanding officer of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H announced the retirement of Lieutenant W. Shane Sims. Sims finished training at the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in 1996 and has worked with Troop H throughout his 28 year career. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2014. His retirement will go into affect on June 1, 2024.
