Missouri Western State University held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to celebrate the complete renovation of the first floor of its Hearnes Library. University officials highlighted that the project is the first significant modernization of the space since the late 1960s, designed to meet the educational needs of 21st-century students. The updated floor features versatile spaces for both group and individual work and has already received overwhelmingly positive feedback from students.
