Long-time Elmo residents Mickie and Linda Pruitt will lead the 75th annual Elmo 4th of July Celebration parade as grand marshals. Mickie, a lifelong farmer in the area, and Linda, a retired reading teacher, expressed surprise and honor at the recognition. The couple, active members of the close-knit Elmo community, will be celebrated for their deep roots and contributions.
