Skidmore will not have any municipal issues on the April 2nd ballot as current City Council members Kim Fetterer, Tim Slagle and Teresa Carter were the only candidates that filed for their seats and so they will retain those spots. However, there will be some school board openings and other issues on the ballot.
Maryville High School Athletic trainer, Paul Snow was commemorated for this 24 years of service excellence to students. The high school’s athletic room will now bear his name in honor of Big Show. Principal Thom Alvarez, made the official presentation during the girls home basketball district game against Savannah last week.
The Nodaway County Republican Committee will be holding their annual Lincoln Day Dinner on March 23rd. The event will be held in Conception Junction at Tri-Meadows. This annual event offers guests the chance to meet and interact with our elected officials, candidates and to meet other Republicans. Tickets are 50 dollars and include dinner.
