During their April 22nd special meeting, the Skidmore Board of Aldermen swore in re-elected member Dennis Gladman and newly elected members Thomas Wilmes and James Duncan. Following the election, Gladman was re-elected as mayor pro tem. The board then discussed and ultimately approved reapplying for a Community Development Block Grant to fund demolitions, noting the reduced application fee of $500 due to a previous attempt. While acknowledging past concerns about the grant’s potential outcome and the $5,000 environmental study cost, the board decided to proceed with the application.
