St. Joseph wrapped up its Juneteenth festivities with a vibrant community picnic at the Bartlett Center, drawing over 350 attendees for a day of food, music, and unity. The event, celebrating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, fostered a strong sense of community and historical remembrance. This year’s celebration notably featured an all-Black security team, highlighting a step forward in representation for St. Joseph.
