The St. Joseph Health Department will continue offering WIC services through fiscal year 2026 after signing a contract continuance with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. WIC, which stands for Women, Infants, and Children, is a supplemental nutrition program. It provides services to pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age five who meet nutritional risk and income eligibility requirements.
