The St. Joseph School Board held a special meeting Monday night to address internal conflicts and a motion to potentially remove Board President LaTonya Williams. After 90 minutes of discussion from board members and concerned residents, the board took no official action, allowing Williams to keep her post. Williams called the outcome a move toward unity, vowing that the board would now refocus on key issues like student scores and finances ahead of the new school year.
