Today is election day! The 2024 election cycle has begun. Remember the polls are open until 7 tonight! It only takes a few minutes to cast your vote. Voter turnout is critical. In addition to the City Council, School board and Health Department board race we have two propositions that are important to our community in the balance. Let your voice be heard and VOTE!
MODOT has road work planned for our area this week here is the breakdown. Resurfacing Highway 71 from the bypass to the Savannah exit continues. Route AB – Pothole patching from U.S. Route 71 to Route 46, April 1-5.
Route DD – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from 300th Street to 310th Street, today from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. MoDOT asks drivers to buckle up, put your phone down, slow down and move over in work zones.
The water/sewer maintenance department will be working in the 100 block area of South Alco this week, installing manholes. Street access will be affected during this time. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and be prepared for any disruptions,
