With just over 80 percent voting in favor, $50 million in bonds for a new water treatment facility passed during a special election Tuesday, according to unofficial results from the Nodaway County Clerk’s Office. The next step for the city will be applying for a low-interest loan through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.
