The St. Joseph Animal Shelter is holding a three-day free adoption event for cats and dogs from July 23-25 to address severe overcrowding. Made possible by the Friends of the St. Joseph Animal Shelter (FOTAS), this initiative offers pre-vetted, chipped, and spayed/neutered pets ready for their new homes. The shelter also encourages community members to help reduce intake by attempting to reunite lost pets with their owners before bringing them to the facility, and welcomes donations and volunteers.
