On Sunday, July 27, at approximately 8:35 p.m., the St. Joseph Police Department closed a section of Sycamore Street between 8th and 9th Streets due to an ongoing investigation. The area remained a crime scene for about three and a half hours, reopening shortly after midnight. Details regarding the incident have not yet been released.
